Gunnar and I did not do much this Help Desk session, though I worked on my Google Certification.

I do not have my laptop in school to work on my project, but I have been researching other things that would deal with Astronomy. I plan on visiting the Boston Museum of Science again, and start the Astronomy class that I have enrolled in. Other things I plan to do, include taking other Astronomy classes, and possibly taking out books about astronomy from the library.

In my opinion, it would be an extremely useful thing to have Smartboard in the IT Help desk Classroom. Smartboards are basically whiteboards that sync with a projector and a computer, that students and teachers can write notes, or ideas on. The notes can then be saved in a file on a computer and be used for later use. Smartboards, though expensive, are an extremely useful asset to have in any classroom, combining the ease of writing on a whiteboard, with a projector and any notes projected on the projector. As well as this a projector can help to save any notes written on the board, instead of them being erased and not remembered afterwards. Smartboards come with an eraser and two pens, or four colored pens and an eraser depending on which type you research or want. The smartboard automatically detects what is picked up, whether colored pen or eraser. A smartboard could help the  IT Help Desk class keep notes on ideas that we may have for screen casts, learn how to use a smartboard (as they are probably the whiteboards of the future) and learn to help any teachers in the school that have whiteboards with any technical issues they have. Smartboards will also help us to keep the ideas we have in a well organized manner.The website I used to research smartboards (Website) stated that a smartboard is $6,799. Though this is extremely pricey it could help the class with many things.

We helped direct a person to a teachers classroom, but no other questions were asked and I focused on  my ILE Pitch.

Today while at help desk we had no visitors so we did class work.

Tumblr is a social blogging and photo sharing app, that allows easy sharing and broadcast of social media, I like this app and how easy it is to navigate and use. I also like searching and looking other pages. It is an overall good app.

I had a great labor day weekend camping at Lake George, I went withy brother and foster family for the entire weekend, it was a lot of fun.
